Over the Baby Monitor

Claire talks in her crib and it's usually pretty funny, so I wrote down a few things I heard one day this week over the baby monitor:

• Wow!  That's a lot of flamingos!
• May I have a waffle please?  Oh yummy.  I ate it all.
• May I have a plate please?  Yes.  May I have food on it?  Yes.  I would like a waffle...and milk!
• This is my left hand.  This is my right hand.
• Upstairs. Not downstairs.  Upstairs.  Not downstairs.
• Ba-ba-ba-ba-CUPS!  What starts with Ba-ba-B?  Ba-ba-Big Bird!  Ba-ba-Grover!  Ba-ba-Ernie!

On another note, James has started getting up on his knees while playing on his tummy.

This is a video from a few weeks ago.  It shows how cute Claire can be when she's playing and talking non-stop!

James' First Solid Food

Here are pictures and a video from James' first meal.  We are hoping it might help him sleep a little better at night.  He's still not sure how he feels about it.  One night he ate it all but the other nights he's seemed very uninterested. 

Easter Sunday

Egg Hunt

We joined some church friends for an egg hunt Saturday afternoon.  The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.

 Claire took her sandal off and her friend Nathan was trying to help her put it back on!

New Kitchen

We got Claire a little play kitchen set for her birthday.  We asked her if James could play with it and she replied, "Nooooo.  He's too little!"
