Things are still going very smoothly with the pregnancy. I'm feeling pretty big and achy these days, but I guess that's all a part of the fun! It's hard to believe we have less than a month until Baby's due date! We go to the doctor on Wednesday, and then will be going back every week. Last Saturday we took a little parenting class at the hospital. This week we have an infant/child safety and CPR class on Wednesday and then a breastfeeding class on Saturday. We find the classes to be well done and informative. Not to mention we receive comfort from seeing the other first time parents who seem to have the deer-in-the-headlights looks on their faces too!
Yesterday, my mom's Sunday school class threw her a Grandmother's Shower. It's very flattering to receive gifts from people I've never met before and a testament to how much they must love my mom! Here are a few pictures from the shower. The cake looks BEAUTIFUL. Someone from the church made it and made the rattles, pacifier, quilt, and tag on the cake out of fondant icing. Wish I could have tried a piece!
