Picnic at the Park

Last Friday night, Matt was out of town and the weather was great, so I packed up the kids for a picnic at one of our favorite playgrounds.

One of the reasons I love this park is that it's right on the river.  We saw ducks, geese, canoes, and a fisherman.  The local high school crew team was also practicing, so we had lots of interesting things to see during swing time.

The geese were almost too friendly.  They came right up to where we were eating.  At one point, I think there were at least 8 geese and 10 ducks all hoping for a handout.
