Ethan Thomas Huyser was born on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 12:20 PM. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. Ethan was taken to the NICU just a few minutes after his birth and ended up spending one week there. He was diagnosed as having Transient Tachypnea and Infant Respiratory Distress Syndrome. To put it simply, he needed a few days of special care to make sure he was breathing property. It was a difficult time for us and hard to watch the little guy struggle, but he is doing great now and will have no long-term problems. We are so thankful that there were always wonderful nurses and doctors taking care of him and that we had so many friends and family members reach out to support us and pray for Ethan.
