James and Claire preformed their memory verses and songs this past Wednesday. They both did great. I was very proud. Claire sang everything and did most of the motions. James did a few motions but I think he sang every word. I've provided the verses below to help translate a bit. These teachers are awesome (and brave!) for teaching children so young.
Coming in to the chapel singing "Jesus Loves Me"
Claire is on the back row toward the right in a blue and purple dress. James in on the front far left.
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
Then the sing "Old Noah built an ark..." Notice Claire was very passionate with her animal sounds (she is the one that you hear). That got some giggles from the audience.
"I am with you and will keep you wherever you go." Genesis 28:15
"The Lord is my helper; I will not fear." Hebrews 13:6
"Jesus says come follow me and be my special friends."
"I trust in Your Word." Psalm 119:42
"God loved us and sent His Son." 1 John 4:10
"From my head down to my toes, God made me (clap! clap!)...my eyes, my ears, my nose..."
"God made the flowers. God made the trees. God made the birds, and God made me."
