We had such a wonderful day yesterday. It started early with the Dunwoody parade. We grilled hot dogs and had fresh corn on the cob for lunch. Then we headed to Alpharetta for a picnic and fireworks. It was our first time seeing fireworks in two years, so James and Claire weren't sure what to expect. Their little personalities were captured well in their reactions. James wasn't sure if he should cry or not. He held tight to Matt and covered his ears while watching nervously. Ethan sat in the stroller munching cheerios and babbling occasionally while watching. Claire talked the entire time, especially to point out any pink fireworks. The weather was perfect and everyone was pretty happy all day. We are forming some new and fun traditions with our little family.
(This must have been Claire's pose for the morning. Loving her new Anna and Elsa dolls...)
This next series of photos made me laugh. Our kids aren't very good at throwing and catching...you can see the ball in most shots has no chance of being caught. At least they were having fun!
Even Ethan couldn't catch the football I was dropping in his lap, but he sure thought it was fun!
