Claire and James had a great first day of preschool! This is Claire's third year going to preschool and James' first. She will be attending four mornings a week, and James will be attending two. James hesitated at the door, but was quickly drawn in by some cars and trucks. He later told me about the rock that they slide down and "go boom!" He fell off a tricycle during their playground time and busted his lip, but they said he recovered quickly--good thing we took pictures before school! James told me that he had fun looking at books and eating snack. He had a music time. He said that the teacher sang "Old McDonald" but he was just quiet. Claire said that she had lots of fun reading books, coloring, searching for hidden objects in a bottle with rice, going to music time, matching shapes, and of course, eating snack. We're all looking forward to a fun-filled year!
