Claire had her two month check up on Wednesday, and she is a healthy, growing girl! She weighed 11 pounds, 14 ounces (75th percentile) and measured 22.5 inches (50th percentile). She had to get two shots, but she was very brave and didn't cry for long. She was glad that Daddy had come along to hold her hands. Now that she has had those vaccinations, she can go to the church nursery. We plan on trying that for the first time this Sunday.
Last Saturday, Claire rolled over for the first time! I put her on her tummy on her blanket with some toys, and went into the kitchen to fix some juice. When I came back she was on her back! The act hasn't been repeated since then, but we are longing to witness just how she did that!
Below are pictures of the finishing touches to the nursery. Matt cut the letters and I painted them with a little help from my mom while she was in town. Each letter is a white piece for the base with a smaller green piece glued on top. We also hung the shelf that Claire's Great Pappaw Lyons made. It looks great!
