Wilmington

A few weeks ago, Matt and I were blessed to get to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary with a weekend away to Wilmington, NC.  Here are some pictures from the trip!

On the way there, we stopped by a farm where we enjoyed taking a walk and buying some fresh fruits and veggies for our weekend.

We stayed at the beautiful C.W. Worth House B&B.

We enjoyed lots of good food, including brunch on our own private balcony overlooking the water.

We made the most of the weekend by keeping busy.  We walked the streets and browsed the shops in Wilmington, enjoyed a concert by the NC Symphonic Orchestra, took a carriage ride, and toured the USS North Carolina Battleship.  I think the highlight of our trip was our private canoe tour on a river.  We started paddling at dusk and paddled the last hour by just the light of a beautiful full moon and many many stars.  It was so peaceful and beautiful.  It was a great weekend.  Matt did a wonderful job planning everything!  Happy (late) anniversary sweetie!  (oh and much thanks also goes to my parents for watching Claire!)
