Videos from this Summer

I've finally gotten caught up on uploading some videos from this summer.  This first video was Claire at the waterfall overlook when we spent the weekend in the mountains.  It shows how she plays, talks, sings, and moves all around when she's in a good mood.

Here is a video of one of James' first attempts at eating puffs.  He's gotten much more efficient since this day.

This shows some interaction between Claire and James.  Claire has a current fascination with getting to see the picture or video on the back of the camera.  Not getting to see it this time leads to a little mini-melt down.  James is just happy to be close to his sister.

The next video was while on a walk near my parents' home.  We were in a quiet wooded park when we started hearing a strange noise.  Further investigation revealed a kitten up in a tree.  He got himself down and then proceeded to be our best friend for the remainder of the walk.  We never picked him up or petted him but he was still very excited to be with us.  After walking a long distance for at least 15 minutes in the heat, we ran across a man and his daughter.  Puzzled, he asked us if it was our cat.  After explaining the story, he decided to care for the cat and try to give it some water.  The little kitten was so funny walking with us and really amused the kids.

 James has just started walking with the wooden walker that Matt made.  

And finally, here are two videos from yesterday afternoon when I set up the kiddie pool in the driveway.  You can see Claire's fluctuation from "NO JAMES THAT'S MY'S!" to giving him toys.  Similar situations happen all day every day.
